Going to continue some reading and testing tomorrow, but reading Amir's results using Audyssey, his frequency response graph looks alot more like mine. There are some changes likely, but you can see many peaks and valleys still have much overlap without really any correction evident.

I'm feeling more confident now that i've seen something like Amir's graphs which resemble my own (i.e. not as much major smoothing as i thought it might have).
