Incidentally i took another look at the possibility of using on walls. I'm a bit hesitant because of the necessity to place them 'permanently, but given the sitting locations and the size of the media cabinet, there would be definite refractions as part of the speaker would be blocked by the cabinet corners for opposite seats (i.e. right speaker would be partially blocked by the media cabinet for people in the left seat and vice versa).
Unsure if the centre channel on-wall would have similar issues with the media cabinet.

Spoke with Ian this week though about the overall plan, what we're trying to do. Step A comes before replacing B and before buying C so...this will take a month or more.
