Hi Andrew. Next time you design something portable, it would be awesome to consider powering it via a magnetic DC connector. In the spring and summer, I expect to mate and unmate the power at least 100 times a month and 60 times a month in the other seasons. I'm concerned about the reliability of that connector-PCB interface and it's also a PITA to make that connection in the back of the Air.
